WATER TREATMENT
We are an independent Water Care dealer able to provide you the best solution to your particular problem. We install Clack equipment to soften, remove iron/sulfur and polish rural and city water.
Scott O. Shaffer is one of very few state licensed Class III water treatment specialists (license # WT0004594) located in Fayette County (see Texas Commission on Environmental Quality website for a list of licensed water treatment specialists in your county) and is a member of Texas Water Quality Association.
Our "Five Steps to Better Water" describe how we do business as water treatment specialists:
Step 1: You invite us out;
Step 2: We field test your water with our equipment and then send a sample of your water to an independent lab for their analysis - we field test at no-charge for total dissolved solids, hydrogen sulfide, hardness, pH and total iron - the private labs we use test for 22 contaminants including calcium, magnesium, manganese, pH, chloride and sulfate;
Step 3: Upon receipt of the lab report (it normally takes 7-10 working days for the lab to complete its report and mail it to us) we email you the results and discuss what the report tells us about your water quality and what the treatment options are;
Step 4: You decide what you want and we install the equipment;
Step 5: We re-test your water quality after installation for calcium and magnesium ("hardness") and total dissolved solids ("TDS") using our field equipment. If we have installed equipment to reduce any contaminant other than hardness or TDS, we pay the lab fee for an "After" water test to verify contaminant reduction (iron, manganese, alkalinity, arsenic, for example).
We have installed and use at our home and place of business the same Clack equipment we would install for you. We sell only products we have live for years at home and work.
Visit us and compare many "Before" and "After" water tests that document the performance of the equipment we sell - inspect the same equipment at our home and place of business. Decide, based on the evidence, how we can help you.
